A vast ocean surrounds seven desert islands full of possibilities. Once home to pirates, smugglers, soldiers and prisoners: Dry Tortugas National Park has its share of historical and natural wonders. If there aren’t enough treasures on these pearls of land, there are many more beneath the waves.

In these surrounding waters something is amiss. A team of archeologist is on site to study centuries of shipwrecks scattered through the colorful coral reefs. But equipment has gone missing and there are strange shadows at night. When valuable artifacts begin to disappear, their expedition is under threat.

Only the Junior Ranger’s Investigative Club can solve the case. Can they figure out who is sabotaging the archeologists before it’s too late? Will they find the missing artifacts? And what is this rumor of vast riches hidden somewhere in the park?

A Mystery in: Biscayne National Park

There was once a pirate named Ceasar, or two pirates named Ceasar? The history is uncertain. When J.R.I.C. stumbles onto a clue which might lead to a vast pirate treasure hidden in the waters south of Miami, it seems like the perfect opportunity for a bonified treasure hunt.

The only problem: they aren’t the only ones searching the waters of Biscayne National Park! It seems that someone else is scouring the park looking for treasure. Boats belonging to a shady organization J.R.I.C.’s run into before have been sighted. There are strange voices in the night and odd calls on the radio.

Now it’s a race to see who can find the treasure first, while avoiding some of the most dangerous elements in southern Florida, mosquitos, the sun, and cutthroat pirates.

A Mystery in: Mammoth Cave National Park

Fall brings wonderful things to southern Kentucky, colorful leaves, migrating birds, cool weather perfect for long hikes, and—blood in the cave?

Something spooky is happening in Mammoth Cave National Park and J.R.I.C. is on the case. They are not alone. A team known as the Specter Detectors is in the park investigating paranormal happenings. Together, can the two teams get to the heart of the mystery?

Could there really be ghosts at work in one of America’s most visited parks, or is something more nefarious going on?

To find out, Justin, Lucy, Bethany, Amelia and Rudy will have to explore one of the most unique parks both above and below ground.
